Sevilla weather is unquestionably Mediterranean with semi-arid influences, a factor attributed to the Spanish city’s geographical positioning. Being Mediterranean, Sevilla weather enjoys warm summers with an abundant supply of sunshine, while the city’s winters are rather cool and mild.
During July and August – in other words the hottest months of weather in Sevilla – mercury reaches its peak, usually reaching maximums of 37C. The city receives the bulk of its precipitation during the autumn and winter seasons. It is advisable however to always carry warm clothes with you during this time of the year. Precipitation is roughly between from 600 to 800 mm per year, and December is the wettest month with an average rainfall of 95 mm. Frost occurs on an average of four days per year, while 52 days experience rain. Finally, Sevilla weather is blessed with around 120.75 days of sun per year.
